We are delighted to announce that Ian Ormiston has been appointed as Maxillofacial Sub-editor for the magazine. Ian is Consultant Maxillofacial Cleft Surgeon based at Leicester Royal Infirmary, England. He has a background in dentistry, medicine and surgery. His interests include surgery for facial disharmony involving correction of jaw discrepancies and bone grafting of the mouth and jaws, particularly in reconstruction following cleft lip and palate surgery and trauma, and in pre-prosthetic and implant surgery.
We are looking forward to working with Ian and to developing this aspect of the magazine further.
In another exciting development, Anna Baker has agreed to join our panel of specialist advisors. Anna has been involved with the magazine for some time, both as a journal reviewer and conference reporter for Newsround. As a specialist advisor she will be representing the viewpoint of aesthetic nurses and we feel she will be a great asset to the team.
