In March the 23rd edition of the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition (Dubai Derma 2024) successfully concluded, marking the largest scientific conference and exhibition for dermatology and cosmetic procedures worldwide, with a total deal value of 2.4 billion dirhams. The event, held from 5–7 March at the Dubai World Trade Centre, witnessed the participation of leading dermatology specialists, industry pioneers, and key decision-makers from across the globe.
Furthermore, Dubai Derma conducted from 2–5 March valuable pre-courses, where attendees had the privilege of engaging with distinguished experts in dermatology. Discussing a diverse range of topics, including biologics in dermatology, therapeutic advancements, and diagnostic approaches, these sessions provided attendees with unparalleled insights and expertise.
On day one of the event, His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), inaugurated Dubai Derma 2024, and toured the exhibition halls to examine the latest developments and technologies in the field of dermatology and laser treatments.

A notable highlight of the second day of Dubai Derma 2024 was the announcement of the strategic partnership between INDEX Trading and Investment and the Global Trade Development Agency (GTDA) from Korea at the Dubai World Trade Center within Dubai Derma 2024, heralding a new era in the skincare industry across Dubai and the MENA region. The partnership signifies the launch of ‘Fall in Beauty’ a multi-brand skincare store set to revolutionise the skincare landscape.
Moreover, Dubai Derma 2024 showcased the latest advancements in medical, therapeutic, paediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, drawing in over 25,000 visitors from 112 participating countries. With approximately 301 international speakers who contributed their expertise across 51 scientific sessions and 53 workshops, the event served as a platform for invaluable knowledge exchange and collaboration.
This year's edition of the event experienced a significant increase in exhibitors, visitors, participants, medical professionals, and international companies specialising in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment.
Over three days, the Dubai Derma Conference and Exhibition reinforced the UAE's position as a regional and global hub for medical and cosmetic treatment, thanks to high-quality healthcare, short waiting periods, and competitive pricing. This year's deals underscore the significant importance of the global and local skincare and beauty care sectors. The conference further solidified Dubai's global status as a crucial hub for medical gatherings, providing a platform for meetings, scientific knowledge exchange, deal-making, and adopting cutting-edge technologies, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence that shapes the future of dermatology and cosmetic medicine.
