Virtual product launch: Meder Beauty’s Circa-Night Cream
In June Meder Beauty held a virtual event to launch their new product, Meder Beauty’s Biohacking Circa-Night Cream.
The launch began with an overview by aesthetic dermatologist Dr Tina Meder, who launched Meder Beauty in 2009. The cream combines unique ingredients to work with the microbiome of the skin so that it is suitable for all skin types, and aims to mimic eight hours of sleep for the skin.
Dr Meder was followed by UK aesthetic specialist Dr Sophie Shotter, who recommends the product to her patients, particularly new mums or women going through the menopause. Dr Shotter discussed the impact of lack of sleep on the skin, particularly now when people are having trouble sleeping due to the impact of stress related to coronavirus and lockdowns. She explained that sleep is as important to healthy skin as it is to brain function and emphasised the importance of working with your body’s circadian rhythm to prevent premature ageing of the skin.
Dr Meder continued with more information about the unique action of the cream and how it mimics the circadian processes that are essential to skin health, regeneration and repair.
There was a lot of interest from the participants throughout the talks and the well-attended interactive event concluded with a lively Q&A session.
