Dorney Lake Conference Centre
Windsor SL4 6FJ
UK
The British Association of Sclerotherapists’ (BAS) 2025 conference will take place on 20 May 2025 at Dorney Lake near Windsor.
Encompassing both foam and microsclerotherapy this is the only UK conference that brings together phlebologists, vascular surgeons and nurses, interventional radiologists, dermatologists and aesthetic practitioners with a common interest in improving vein treatment outcomes.
A stimulating day will feature up to the minute presentations from experts in the field interspersed with live demonstrations of varicose vein and thread vein treatments. Delegates will also be able to update their BLS certification and network with peers and industry exhibitors. Promotional and early bird discounts are detailed on the BAS website BASsclerotherapy.com. BAS CPD certificates are recognised by GMC and NMC for appraisal and revalidation.
There are very few avenues open for UK practitioners to update their sclerotherapy skills, share best practice and hear the latest from recognised authorities, and the BAS annual conference has become the go-to event for BAS members and non-members alike.
50% of the population suffers from unsightly thread or varicose veins on their legs and with virtually no treatment available on the NHS more and more people are turning to vascular specialists and aesthetic practitioners to improve the appearance of their veins. The British Association of Sclerotherapists is a not-for-profit professional membership organisation formed in 2002 with the aim of raising and maintaining standards of responsible evidence-based practice.
See BAS website https://www.bassclerotherapy.com/events/ for details of the programme and speakers.
